As a project manager specializing in developing and executing complex art & cultural projects, from initial concept to final implementation. My experience ranges from launching and scaling an independent art organization to securing international funding and fostering cross-cultural collaboration. My foundational training began at the Goethe-Institut Alexandria, leading to my role as a program officer for '6 Bab Sharq.
My core competencies include:
Strategic Leadership: Co-led the transition of '6 Bab Sharq' from an institute-affiliated program into a fully independent LLC, managing its complete operational, financial, and strategic direction.
Program Design & Curation: Designed and implemented numerous high-impact programs for emerging artists, including residencies, exhibitions, and capacity-building workshops focused on cinema, visual arts, and literature.
Fundraising & Grant Management: Successfully secured and managed full funding from the German Foreign Office (2020-2021) and received a project grant through the TANDEM 360 program.
International Collaboration: Selected for The Professional Fellows Program (Washington D.C., 2023), a U.S. Department of State exchange focused on building partnerships between MENA and U.S. leaders. Produced a cross-border music residency between Jordan and Egypt.
Exhibition Title: Oblivious to Me -
Medium: Photography
Role: Manager
Curator: Nadia Mounier
Exhibition description: The exhibition contains nine projects that were produced in the Photography Lab and are still under development and research. The main theme of the programme is the social environment and all the factors which affect identity, thought, and belief. During the programme, the projects managed to meet under an encompassing umbrella which contains subtle intertwined narratives, uninterrupted by the facilitators or guidance sessions. Some of these projects are produced with a desire to speak about all that has passed and was not addressed or explained. Photography as a medium for these projects generated questions on storytelling techniques, archiving, time, and the power of memory in recalling all that we thought had passed or had been lost in time.

Exhibition Title: Isolated In The City
Role: Curator
Nov 2019
Under the weight of architectural shift, we've been isolated from the sea. The city has now a center of its own, where everything is taking place, all was made available under the notion of entertainment. The city's inhabitants have become marginalized and neglected; they have locked themselves in their neighborhoods and districts. The artists Shahenda Ahmed, Mayar El Masry, Hassan Ghoniem, Ahmed Tag, and Ahmed Hamdy tell their stories about the changes they have seen and witnessed in the city.
